DINOSAUR SONG

Last week we closed our project about dinosaurs. We uploaded the nice video/song we used to finish the project, and the photos with the Dinosaurs scenes children made.

La semana pasada cerramos nuestro proyecto sobre dinosaurios. Subimos al blog el bonito video/canción que utilizamos para finalizar el proyecto, y las fotos con las escenas de dinosaurios que hicieron los alumnos.

This week we started an exciting project ... DINOSAURS! We investigate, learn English, have fun ... Dinosaurs are awesome! Soon we will post on the blog the work we are doing ... meanwhile ... a fun and great song about dinosaurs ... we all love it.

Esta semana hemos comenzado un proyecto emocionante...Dinosaurios!!! Investigamos, aprendemos inglés, nos divertimos... los dinosaurios son alucinantes!! Pronto colgaremos en el blog los trabajos que estamos realizando... mientras tanto... una divertida y estupenda canción sobre dinosaurios... nos encanta a todos.

This week we started a new didactic unit about ANIMALS. During three weeks we will be researching and learning about animals, their features, habitats, classification... To warm up, these days we have sung "Walking in the Jungle".

ANIMALS SONGS

This week we started working on Animals didactic unit . One of the first things we have done is to differentiate wild animals and farm animals. Furthermore, we found that the onomatopoeias we use to write  animal sounds are different in Spanish and in English. With these two songs we have learned and practiced them: "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and "Sounds of the Animals Song".

Esta semana hemos comenzado a trabajar la unidad didáctica sobre los Animales. Una de las primeras cosas que hemos hecho es diferenciar a los animales salvajes y a los animales de granja. Además, hemos descubierto que las onomatopeyas que utilizamos para escribir los sonidos que hacen animales son diferentes en Español y en Inglés. Con estas dos canciones las hemos aprendido y practicado: "Old MacDonald had a Farm", y "Sounds of the Animals Song".

ANIMALS SAYINGS

As we will start this term The Animals didactic unit, we will learn some rhymed animal sayings and chunks in English to greet us when we come to class and say goodbye when we return home. The sayings will be sticked on the both sides of the classroom door, so children can read and remember to use them. You can also download the files with the sentences. Sure it's fun for the whole family to use and practice them at home.

Aprovechando que este trimestre comenzamos la unidad didáctica de Los Animales, vamos a aprender algunas frases hechas y rimadas (relacionadas con los animales) en Inglés, para saludarnos cuando llegamos a clase y despedirnos cuando volvemos a casa. Las frases estarán pegadas a ambos lados de la puerta del aula, para que los alumnos puedan leerlas y acordarse de utilizarlas. También podéis descargaros los archivos con las frases. Seguro que es divertido para toda la familia practicarlas y ulitizarlas en casa.
