FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
This week, at the first grade, we continued the didactic unit related to food. One of the issues we've worked with has been the difference between fruits and vegetables. You can find below on the blog links to some games that you can play at home with children to review the vocabulary of the unit.
Esta semana, en 1º, hemos continuado con la unidad didáctica relacionada con la comida. Uno de los temas que hemos trabajado ha sido la diferencia entre frutas y verduras. Os colgamos en el blog los enlaces a algunos juegos que os servirán para repasar el vocabulario con los niños en casa.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Happy Halloween! This week we worked and learned about Halloween. On Thursday we also had our own Halloween party at school. We dressed up, we went to say "trick or treat" class to class, Berta, the witch came to visit us, we danced, sang ... and ate a lot of sweets! We uploaded on the blog some pictures from the party of 1st and 2nd grade. We uploaded one of the songs we've learned this week too.
Happy Halloween!!! Esta semana hemos trabajado y aprendido sobre Halloween. Además, el jueves celebramos nuestra fiesta de Halloween en el colegio. Nos disfrazamos, fuimos a decir "truco o trato" por las clases, vino la bruja Berta a vernos, bailamos, cantamos... y comimos un montón de chuches!!! Subimos al blog algunas fotos de la fiesta de 1º y 2º de primaria. También subimos una de las canciones que hemos aprendido esta semana.

WHERE IS THUMBKIN?
This week we learned the name of the fingers: Thumbkin, Pointer, Tall Man, Ring Man and Pinky, our favorite one. To remember them we have also learned a fun song that we uploaded on the blog so you can sing with children at home.
Esta semana hemos aprendido el nombre de los dedos: Thumbkin, Pointer, Tall man, Ring man y Pinky, nuestro favorito. Para recordarlos también hemos aprendido una divertida canción, que subimos al blog para que podáis cantarla con los niños en casa.

THE GRUFFALO
Last week we met The Gruffalo, a special monster. The Gruffalo is also a funny story, which is helping us to review some body parts. The Gruffalo will be with us for a while. These are the links to the original picturebook (English) and to the animated film, which you can find on Youtube. It is the original version with subtitles in Spanish.
La semana pasada conocimos a El Gruffalo, un monstruo muy especial. Es una historia divertida, que nos está ayudando a recordar algunas partes del cuerpo.
