WEATHER SONGS

This week we started the didactic unit on Weather. It has been a week with rain, sun, clouds ... we just lacked a bit of snow in this "Crazy February." We uploaded the two songs we use in class to review and practice the possible answers to the question: "How's the weather today?"

Esta semana hemos comenzado la unidad didáctica sobre el tiempo atmosférico.  Ha sido una semana con lluvia, sol, nubes... sólo nos ha faltado un poco de nieve en este "Febrerillo loco". Os subimos las dos canciones con las que repasamos y recordamos las posibles respuestas a la pregunta: "¿Qué tiempo hace hoy?"

PLANTS SONG

This week we finished the didactic unit on plants. We uploaded on the blog one of the songs we've been listening to and singing in class these days. We used it also review the life cycle of plants and trees, as well as the vocabulary related to the part of a plant.

Esta semana hemos acabado la unidad didáctica sobre la plantas. Subimos al blog una de la canciones que hemos escuchado y cantado en clase estos días. Nos ha servido, además, para recordar el ciclo vital de las plantas y árboles, así como el vocabulario relacionado con la partes de una planta.

HOW PLANTS GROW

This week we started the didactic unit on plants. Threre are two features of the plants that make it difficult for children to perceive them as living things. An important part of their germination and initial growth occurs underground, and the time required to see their growth is usually too long for children. For this reason we have seen in class some videos that shorten that period of time, and allow us to see the germination underground.

Esta semana hemos comenzado la unidad didáctica sobre las plantas. Hay dos características de las plantas que dificultan que los niños las perciban como seres vivos. Una parte importante de su germinación y crecimiento inicial se produce bajo tierra, y en muchas ocasiones el tiempo necesario para ver su crecimiento es demasiado largo para los niños. Por este motivo en clase hemos visto algunos videos que acortan ese lapso de tiempo, y que nos permiten ver la germinación bajo tierra.
